 Description
RTMP is a remote processor used for monitoring alarms (digital inputs) and control relays (digital output).

Upon system initiation, operating data and alarm status response information may be transmitted to the RTMP from the Host (WGY Server). RTMP units can also be configured locally by an optional internal keypad and LCD alphanumeric display.

Alarm Monitoring decisions are made at the local level by the RTMP without having to communicate with the Host.

RTMPs can also be configured as independent alarm monitoring and control units, as well as for online and off line modes of operation. When configured for online mode, the Host will continuously poll the terminal and all events will be reported as they occur. When configured for off line mode, events will be stored in a 64k buffer for retrieval by the host at pre-determined intervals. Critical alarms configured by the user shall cause the terminal to alert the Host immediately.

RTMP’s units do not require communication with the Host except when they are uploading or downloading database information, or when they are transferring alarm information.

Each RTMP is capable of transmitting alarms for low battery, AC power failure, and terminal cabinet door open (tamper).

Supervised alarm inputs shall be any sensor/detection device that provides normally open or normally closed outputs. Devices that require power to operate (I.e. motion sensor & PIR) must be powered externally. Typical alarm-sensing input devices include:

• Door contact switches
• Glass-break sensors
• Motion sensors

Furnish and install where shown alarm monitoring and control terminal units fully compatible with all WeGuardYou products, such as WGY Access Control System, WGY Visitor Management System, WGY Digital Video, WGY Data Access Control, WGY ESP System, WGY Policy Management, etc. The terminal units shall monitor for five supervised input states, i.e. secure, alarm, short, trouble and open. They shall support 16 supervised inputs, and control 16 relay and/or open collector outputs. Sixteen (16) LEDs in the terminal shall provide a visual status of the inputs, and each output shall provide feedback so the terminal can verify that each output is functioning correctly.

A back-up battery shall maintain full terminal operation for up to twenty (20) hours in the event of AC power failure, and each terminal shall provide alarms for low battery, AC power failure, and cabinet tamper.

Each terminal shall be capable of operating in the ONLINE or OFF LINE mode. When configured for online mode, the host shall continuously poll the terminal and all events are reported as they occur. When configured for off line mode, events shall be stored in a 64k buffer for retrieval by the host at pre-determined intervals. Critical alarms configured by the user shall cause the terminal to alert the host immediately.

Each terminal shall support an optional 16-button keypad, and an optional 16 x 2 backlit, alphanumeric display to allow for local programming.

Terminals shall communicate with the Host via RTIP (Real-Time Interface Processor) units using RS-485, RS232, or modem. When using RS-485, it shall be possible to connect up to 32 terminals together with the furthest unit up to 4,000 feet away from its RTIP.
